Asmara rocks.
Ordered same thing for over 15 years. LOVE!!!! Our family of 7 talk often about going and when we go Rao about afterwards for days. Owner is a jewel and waiters attentive and kind.

Best Eritrean/Ethiopean food I’ve ever tasted.

This is my favorite restaurant in Oakland by far. I have never tasted shiro or kik alicha anywhere near as good.

This place is beautiful. The food was excellent. Asmara isn’t just a restaurant it is an experience. I loved eat my food without silverware. My family found it interesting as well, especially my children. The art work is amazing and service is great. I will always be a customer at Asmara.

Easily the best ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant in the Bay Area. They have been in business since 1985 which tells you how consistent there food has been over the years. Great beer and alcohol selection in the bar side as well!
